Community Supported Agriculture
Fresh local food from a farm down the road!
What is a CSA
Community Supported Agriculture, CSA, is a way of supporting your local farmer and then benefitting by receiving fresh, local, naturally grown produce weekly throughout the growing season. Purchasing a share at the beginning of the season provides the farmer with an idea of how much he will need to plant as well as the dollars needed to purchase supplies.
This year we are offering two 16 week CSA memberships beginning June 15th or earlier if weather allows! Pick up weekly at the farm or come to the Idaho Falls Farmers market.
If you think that will be too much veg for your family feel free to find someone to share it with.
We will also allow you to receive less items each week and extend your season past the 16 weeks. Keep in mind only microgreens can be guaranteed past the 16 weeks, although our goal is to have winter greens, a few root crops, and some winter squashes through December!

Here is an example of what you could receive for 1 week.
2 lbs. carrots, 1 bunch beets with tops, 1 bunch radish, 8 oz lettuce, 8 oz spinach, 1 bunch scallions, basil, basket of cherry tomatoes, 3 cucumbers, and 1 dozen eggs.

Why Growing Acres
Unlike most other CSA programs we are allowing you to customize and choose the food your family will be most likely to use.
We grow everything we sell on the farm with organic principles.
CSA members will receive discounts on eggs and whole chickens plus get first choice on limited items.
What will be available?
There are many variables in farming and sometimes nature decides what crops succeed or fail. When we get a bumper crop our members get extra benefits! We love experimenting with new crops and we always plant extra so there will always be something for you. Here are some examples of what we generally have success with.
